29 year old right back and centre half Andy Lawrie was signed at the start of the season. Andy will add some experience to the defence as he will slot into the vacant right back position left by Paul Nugent. Andy played nearly 250 appearances (scoring 28 goals) for Falkirk in a 7 year spell after coming through their youth system. He had a loan spell at East Fife at the end of season 1998/99 whilst he was at the Bairns. Andy signed for first division St Johnstone at the start of the 2006/07 and he went on to play 44 games for the Perth Saints, scoring two goals. Andy made his debut in the 3-0 away defeat by Dunfermline and has started the season in the heart of the defence with Andy Graham moving out to right back .
