CHRIS AITKEN

Chris was signed in the January 2005 window to bolster the Bino's fleeting midfield. Having previously played with Morton, Clyde and Hamilton the midfielder made an immediate impact after scoring some spectacular goals that season. Injury kept him out of the start of season 2005/06, but he was soon back in the team and ended the season as second top scorer with 13 goals. Last season Chris was in fantastic form again and this lead him to being nominated for the second division player of the year, was included in the second division team of the year and received the player's, player of the year award at the POY dance. Chris went on to score 12 goals and again finished second top scorer for the club after being a virtual ever present in midfield. Chris is the club captain and is currently the top scorer in the team, after a rich goal scoring form has got him into double figures already this season.
