23 year old left back David Lowing became Alan Moore's first signing of the season when he reportedly signed a two year contract with the Binos. David started off his career at St Mirren and found opportunities hard to come by at the Paisley club. He moved onto Forfar Athletic in July 2003 and he played in over 70 games for the Loons. It was then onto Ayr United in January 2005 where he gained the name "psycho" for a few sending's off in his 60+ games for the Honest Men. David made his debut for the Binos in a 3-0 away defeat by Dunfermline Athletic in the challenge cup.
