LAURIE ELLIS

 

Laurie Ellis was Alan Moore's first signing of the new season after being snapped up at the end of May. Ellis is a left sided defender who can play both in the middle or left hand side of the defence. Laurie started his career off at Raith Rovers and stayed there for five season's before moving onto St Mirren in 2003 for two seasons. He then moved back to Raith Rovers for a season and was then signed last season for Cowdenbeath. The 27 year old defender played in all but four games for the Blue Brazil last season and is happy to be back playing first division football this season. Laurie made his debut at home to Partick on the opening day and was an ever present before injury ruled him out for a couple of games at the start of December.
