Paul was signed a few games into last season after initially featuring heavily in pre season and then as a trialist in the draws against Partick and St Johnstone at the start of that season. Murphy was previously on the books of Stenhousemuir and he made over 100 appearances in his time there. Paul is able to play in defence and midfield and seemed to be a regular in the team until he suffered a back injury which kept him out for four months. Paul found opportunities hard to come by after this, however, Alan Moore was happy to sign him up again at the end of the season for the coming season.
