SCOTT MCLEAN

Scott McLean, or Trigger to the fans, was surprisingly released by St Mirren at the end of season 2002/03. Trigger wanted to go part-time to concentrate on his studies. This prolific scorer has been with St Johnstone, ICT, Inverness Clachnacuddin (highland league team), QOS, Partick Thistle and St Mirren. He was better known for his scoring exploits at ICT and Partick Thistle were he won league medals. Trigger was top scorer last season with 22 goals and played a big part in us getting promoted last season. He knocked back a big money offer at Gretna to stay with us ,much to the delight of the Binos faithful. He has started the season were he left off, scoring goals. His early season form has already seen Morton putting in a official bid of £25,000 which was knocked back by the Stirling board. Has been out injured since the Arbroath game just after Christmas.
