Mullen has already scored against the Binos in the 8-2 defeat of Stranraer and comes to Forthbank with a reputation of a being a tireless worker with an eye for goal. Twenty five year old Mullen was a "late" edition to the senior ranks when Queen of the South signed him in January 2006 from amateur signed Newmilns Vesuvius . He then went on to feature in a further nine games at the start of the 2006/07 (scoring one goal) before being loaned out to Stranraer in January 2007. His move to Stranraer was made permanent at the start of the 2007/08 and Michael made 52+35 appearances for Stranraer, scoring 24 goals on the way. Michael has signed a contract that will keep him at the Binos till the end of next season. On other news, the Binos have tied up centre half Scott Gibb till the end of the season.
