After
promotion from Division Three, the Albion go into season 2004/05
with a much smaller squad than was existent in the previous
campaign. The release of Scott Morrison, Derek Anderson, Andy
Smith, Colin McKinnon, Gary Kelly, Eddie Logan, Ross Beveridge,
Barry Elliot, Ryan Davidson and the return of Derek Lyle to
Queen of the South after a 6-month loan has only, so far,
has only been replaced by James Allan, Kevin McDonald, Barry
Neville and another 6-month loan forward, Connor Gethins.
The pacy, but small striker, its fair to say, was not what
most of the Binos fans were after. Someone more in the mould
of a tall targetman was thought to be an ideal 'target' for
the Binos.
The Binos leaders for the campaign were
to be Manager Allan
Moore, Assistant Manager and experienced defender Mark
McNally and his defensive team-mate, Captain, George
Rowe. Also in the back room staff is Davie
Gemmell who also adds a vital part of Allan Moore's
staff and is joint assistant manager at the club. Here is
what stirlingalbion.com thinks the likely lineup for the
start of the season will be, ready to take on the opposition
in Division Two:
